ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

The call for abstracts will be open until July 17 (notification of acceptance on the August 1).

Candidates can select their preference for an oral or poster presentation. However, oral presentation slots are limited and the abstracts will be selected not only based on scientific merit but also on the ability to attract the interest of a broad audience.

The Symposium will include 2 poster sessions as part of the program, during which contributors will have the opportunity to introduce and attract attention to their work. In this way, we expect to stimulate lively discussions and exchange of ideas between participants and speakers.
Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to present their posters in a Speed Talk – a 2 minute “elevator pitch” -, just before the respective poster session. Participants can use 1 slide only or a whiteboard to draw as a visual support, or just present the poster orally without support in 2 minutes.

We will be able to fund 10 grants on a competitive basis to cover the registration of graduate students and post-docs willing to present their work at the symposium. To apply for the grants submit an abstract together with a motivation letter.
